Style Types and Their Benefits

Never let any one say that you have to limit your style due to your size. Its a lie from the pits of hell. You can dress in any style you wish, just as long as it says something about who you are.

Outfits that look great on most plus sized individuals are numerous but two of my personal favorites are the Piecy look and the Secretary look.

Fig. 1 The Piecy Look

The piecy look takes accesory detailing to the next level. The right accesory , like a scarf or a belt or a pop of color, in the right place adds amazig results and emphasis on the smaller parts of your body. Ta Da! It makes you look smaller than you really are. Here are some Examples.

Fig. 2 The Secretary Look

The secretary look consists of soft feminie hues and generally a very put together look. There are so many things you can do with this look that I could take all day listing them. But there are two generally over looked pieces that every plus sized girl should have and least once in their life.

Item No.1 The Vest

I love vests! I have at least 10 and they're all different. Vests are amazing little creatures. They place emphasis on the shoulders while makinf the midsection (the tummy) appear narrow and trim. Throw in a collared shirt and a pencil skirt and you have a crisp, well-established look. Here are a few examples.

Item No. 2 The Ruffled Shirt

Ruffled shirts are very feminie and in an awkward way, romantic. Don't ask me about the romantic part. They add detailing towards the face and really alld volume to the bust. (if you have a small bust this is a big booster). They come in all sorts of colors, pattrens and sizes you can find them almost anywhere. Go Get a few and you'll see what I mean. Here are a few examples.

Those are just a few aspects of the secretary look. Meanwhile, here are a few looks to try out on your plus size figure.

Necklines And Their Effects

Many times I have seen plus sized ladies who have awkard necklines for their facial shapes. The truth is the neckline of a shirt or dress can either make you look lovely or make you look like a whale.

Fig. 1 The V-neck

V-necks have the unique ability to trick the eye of the beholder. I enlongates the face, creating a slimming effect on the face. But keep the v neck at a decent length.

Fig. 2 Wide Circle Neck

A wide cirlcle neck softens the face and give the illusion of balanced features. this is particalary useful if you have a narrow facial features.

In the mean time here are soem cute looks to try out, suspenders.

Why should plus sized women eventually wear suspenders? Several reasons apply. The make the hips appear narrow and add emphasis on the shoulders creating a streamlined look or a perfect hourglass figure depending on your body type. Also, they're very unique and daring ^_^

YOu also might want to try some of these charming looks.

Hello, People

I've always been a plus sized lady, and believe em its tough. Finding the right outfit to fit all the curves that generally curve in the wrong direction is tough.

I beileve every big girl should dress her best an rock what she's got.
Let's review the basic plus sized figures

Fig. 1 The Pear

If you're a pear shaped lady, chances are you have a small chest measurement and a bigger waist and thigh measurement. Pears have narrow shoulders. Their bustlines and waistlines are small and petite.

Fig. 2 The Hourglass

The hourglass is a tricky one. They have broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and full hips. Their bust and hip meausremenst are almost always the same.

I'll be coverign other body types as the weeks roll by. Meanwhile, here a a few cute looks to try out.

Never undersetimate the effect of the Black Dress

And a little glitter helps as well

Also don't be afraid of the deep blue shades. Indigo and navy blue are just a few choices. But the possibilities are endless.
